I was shooting some interior shots for a friend of mine and this was an unexpected result! It's pretty tough to photograph a 2 1/2 year old doing anything, but jumping on the couch came quite natural to Henry!
It made me laugh so I thought I would just post it!
I was going through some files from the first Saget episode we did w/ a motorcycle group. We traveled cross country from Louisville-Nashville-Cartersville to end the week in Daytona for "Bike Week" I had no idea that even existed! I saw everything from a biker wedding (how do I still end up at a wedding hanging w/ bikers?) to hanging at the club house drinking moonshine w/ Bob and the crew. Here are a few images from this crazy episode. I think this is going to be the opening show in Sept/Oct. Contrary to some of the imagery the motorcycle club were the nicest guys in the world. I can't describe how insane this adventure was....
This past week has been pretty crazy. Just wrapped the "10 Best Dressed" for St. Louis Magazine that will be out in Sept., had a great wedding on Sunday and I'm packing to head out to California to meet up w/ Bob Saget again. Kind of a remote area outside of Reno across the Nevada border! I'm a little sad as this is the last episode until season 2! I will post more stuff as the show gets closer. I'm trying to find out the air date but production keeps saying sometime in the fall!
Here are a few shots from my wedding on Sunday. Molly & Justin were great and they allowed me to do what I do! It was great to shoot in one of the World's Fair homes in the west end!
Life has been a little strange lately. Some things have come full circle and I've had some great opportunities that have come out of nowhere lately. I promise to post more photographs later but wanted to share a few things that are coming up.
I was invited to speak at an event that is being held here in St. Louis w/ Jasmine Starr who is a nationally recognized photographer and I'm really excited about it. There are also several other St. Louis photographers who I'm looking forward to meeting and hearing them speak. The offer came just a few days after I hosted celebrity photographer Mike Colon in my studio a few months back. We use to chat online when I started my business and he saved my e-mail. He called me randomly after not talking for 7 years and said he was going to be in town. We had a great time running around downtown and going to dinner. I'm heading to LA next month for work and we are going to get together at his place in Newport. It's just a great feeling when things like that come full circle w/ little to no effort. More things have come my way from sitting next to someone in an airport or just random conversations w/ strangers. I suppose that's what keeps me moving and traveling and doing what I love. I'm very grateful to everyone who makes these things happen for me!
