Thought I would post a few of Sofia. She isn't doing much these days other than getting horizontal and waking up for the occasional food break before she gets back to her full time job of sleeping. I think her shirt pretty much summaries her entire life at the moment. I'm not complaining at all...I've heard the flip side of babies who cry all the time! I want to photograph her upright but I also want to keep her this size forever....
Mimi and Nghia woke up on a Sunday morning with clouds and rain pouring down. The skies cleared and the weather was perfect for their outdoor wedding at the Four Seasons. I haven't shot a wedding on the rooftop terrace so I was excited to capture beautiful images of their ceremony! Mimi forgot to mention that they were releasing 20 white doves at the end of the ceremony. I was fortunate enough to be shooting vertically and able to grab a few doves as they passed through the frame. One of my favorite shots of a wedding and the arch combined!
They were a great couple and love photography. I think the camera loved them equally! Mimi asked to to travel to Vietnam to shoot their ceremony there but was unable to do so because of my schedule. Hope you guys are having a great time with Nghia's family in Vietnam!
...A few more from Heather & Alan's wedding ceremony! It was a beautiful evening at the Ritz and all the details were amazing. We took so many images that evening I'm still working on wrapping up the reception. More to come when I finish it up next week!
I had the privilege of shooting the 10 Best Dressed for St. Louis Magazine this month! I had a great time working with such a diverse group of people with so many different styles and occupations! Thank you Nicole for letting me be part of this!
Heather and Alan had one of the biggest parties I've ever photographed! It was a beautiful evening with the ceremony and the reception at the Ritz! I'm going to do a bigger post of this wedding when I get through all the image sometime next week. Susan Jackson and myself shot more than we've ever shot at one event and I can't wait to combine our images together for them! This is one of my favorite intimate shots between Heather & Alan. I really can't think of a title or what to write about the birth of my daughter Sofia. It was the most surreal and wonderful experience of my life. She's only two weeks old and I've almost filled up a drive with photographs of her. I'm sure I'm already annoying to her and she can barely see at this point. If I'm not photographing her I find myself looking at her for hours.
